HumanConcepts Announces Collaboration with SAP on HR Solution for Pitney Bowes
HumanConcepts and SAP Enable Pitney Bowes to Accurately Manage Employee Data Using Visualisation Tools in OrgPlus Enterprise Along With mySAP™ ERP HCM
Torquay, UK 11th September, 2006 -HumanConcepts, the leading provider of workforce modelling and intelligence solutions announced today that it is collaborating with SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) to provide an end-to-end human resource solution for the UK subsidiary of Pitney Bowes. In conjunction with mySAP™ ERP Human Capital Management (mySAP™ ERP HCM) OrgPlus Enterprise from HumanConcepts provides Pitney Bowes with quick and secure access to graphical views of employee information, organisational structures and directories through a Web browser, as well as Web-based modelling tools for creating "what-if" scenarios for the future.
According to Pitney Bowes, company managers will be able to use OrgPlus Enterprise to view and manage their employee data through a Web browser with the UK pilot starting in the first week of September, and France and Germany by the year end. The company expects its managers will find OrgPlus Enterprise instrumental in helping chart their employee data. It aims to significantly reduce the time and money spent distributing critical HR information throughout its enterprise systems, carrying out its annual employee survey.

"OrgPlus and mySAP ERP HCM have made it easier than ever for us to provide our managers with access to information about organisational structure and empower them to make business decisions based on staffing information."
McPhee expects Pitney Bowes will load over 34,000 employee records from the database every day through an interface to mySAP ERP HCM into OrgPlus Enterprise with approximately 80 fields of information in each record.
