1. Create charts fast…No drawing required!

You'll never have to manually position or connect the boxes in your chart. As a result, OrgPlus helps you create a chart much faster than any other tool.
Type names, titles and information into each box, they shrink or expand to fit your text perfectly.  Add boxes by simply selecting a box tool and clicking on the chart.  Finalise your layout with drag-and-drop ease.

2. Microsoft Vista and Office 2007 Compatibility

OrgPlus 7 is fully compatible with Microsoft's latest operating system, Vista, and Microsoft Office 2007. Ensuring that your software investments remain compatible with your current and future technology environments is extremely important. OrgPlus is guaranteed to work with the latest versions of Microsoft's operating systems and Microsoft Office.

3. Break charts into manageable sub-charts

Make large charts more understandable and manageable by sub-charting them either during import or from with the application—sub-chart by level or by specific individual. All sub-charts are contained within the same file for easy navigation.

The chart on the left has 500 employees. They were all imported into one chart. As you can see, it's difficult to read and even more difficult to manage. Using the Insert Sub-chart feature we break the chart at level 2 and 4. The result is a manageable chart with down arrows allowing you to navigate to sub-charts.

4. Apply predefined templates or create a design of your own

Enhance charts by using one of OrgPlus's predefined templates or create one of your own design, box or branch templates—giving you complete control over the look and feel of your charts. Simply drag the template from the template window to your chart to update the look.

OrgPlus templates enable you to make presentation quality Org charts in one click

5. Create multiple customised chart views to present employee data differently

OrgPlus introduces the concept of a project, which can contain multiple charts - similar to a Microsoft Excel workbook and worksheet concept. Each chart within a project can show a unique view that displays different data fields, contains different formatting, and may even contain a different hierarchy. For example, in an organisation that utilises matrix reporting, each chart within a project may contain a different project team with its own unique hierarchy.

6. Show chart data in multiple views

Use the Directory View to create a corporate directory that can be published along with the organisational chart to your company intranet. Use the Profile View to show extended information about employees without cluttering the organisational chart view Use the Tree View to centralise all the controls you need to create basic organisational charts into one easy-to-use panel.

7. Automatically format your chart based on the data it contains

Use Conditional Formatting to create customised views that help you better understand your organisation. For example, quickly identify new employees in the company by setting up a rule to border all new employees' boxes in yellow. Use it to visually identify other important employee characteristics (e.g., retiring employees or employees due for a performance review).
